Day 3 – Flat Paul
This year in our Community Bible Study we’ve been studying
the Book of Acts. Paul, the great
missionary, journeyed to lots of foreign lands to spread the Gospel, and then
frequently journeyed BACK to encourage the new believers and correct any
doctrinal errors along the way.
Doodlebug’s class made “Flat Paul’s” (in the vein of Flat Stanley)
and were instructed to send Paul to new believers and return back with
photographs of his adventures.
Blessed
with this trip,we decided to return Paul to some of his previous exploits and check on the Church to see how it’s doing since he left it. So far, all Paul has really done is helped rent a car (See Day 1). Today he’ll journey to Assisi (yes, a new place as far as I know), then off to Sienna & Rome the day after. Little did we know, but Paul was able to stand right outside the Basilica Di San Francesco. J He seemed to approve..
